Caulk Wood | Bonding for Success

The gang

I thought it would be good to hear from me. Especially after a friend of mine Tweeted yesterday,

    "@KimWood near tears on stage"

What an awesome Makeover2Takeover Contest!

Rewarding, Stressful

My business gets made over

Thank you, ActiveRain

I didn't cry because Missy & I got 2nd place in the contest. I've said it many times, it was a great honor to be a part of such an awesome group. To make TopThree was amazing! However, Desiree Daniels & Brian Block deserve to be crowned victors of theMissy, Kim & Rich Makeover Contest.

I wasn't left out.....

My Business Won !!!!

I have a feeling most of the conestants would say the same thing.

So why the tears near tears? Rich asked each of us separate questions which we had no clue beforehand we were even speaking on stage......  What have you gained out of the contest? (Watch the video cause the details are a little foggy. I'm sure they'll be posted in no time - I saw at least 50 videos being taken with about 1,000 still cameras from my view)

Do you know how long it would take to really answer that question? I tried to make my answer brief..... My business got a much needed makeover. I learned so much from all of the apprentices & mentors. I gained a very special friend, Missy Caulk.  Missy was amazing sharing her business with me.  Insert tears of sincerity here. For that I'll be forever grateful.

Thank you, Missy. I love you!

I love Missy Caulk

Rock on sister! I bet I would have been bawling if I had been there!  When posed that question or to even think about it...it gave me new life....motivation...and my passion restored!  I also got one heck of a good friend...and a reminder...the daytona real estate trainer still has it! :)  You two teams were tough as with all the other contestants..I did not think we would make it through the last challenge as a matter of fact..I had migraines for 2 days...and I rarely get them..Jeannette was mentoring me to get through the last challenge.  Thank goodness its over and we all better...with tools...with drive and passion!  Luv ya! :)

Kim - You worked hard on the contest, and I'm sure that it will pay dividends for your business going forward.  I pretty much cry at the drop of a hat, so I'm sure it would have been no different if I were in your shoes, especially with the relief that came with having the contest over.

Kim, congratulations to you & Missy for all your efforts and the 2nd place finish in the Makeover to Takeover competition.  It was a great pleasure and fun to meet both of you and hang out these last few days.  Boy, I'm exhausted, as I'm sure you are too.  Have a safe flight home.  I'm gonna chill and hang out for a few days with my sister and my sister-in-law before returning from San Francisco on Tuesday.
