At the beginning of the month, I was excited because my website finally hit the first page of Google. This was a major improvement from six weeks earlier when I couldn't find my website in the first 20 pages.
Now, I am almost blase about that because I have found out it gets even better. Less than two weeks ago, I checked my keywords and discovered that I was 8, 9 and 10 on PAGE ONE OF GOOGLE.
Though I may not yet be number one, I am still excited. I have a 3 in 10 chance of being clicked on; perhaps that's better than number one with nothing else on page one.
Through the last several days, my website, blog and other profiles have been coming and going on page one, with usually at least one and often two listings on page one at any time. Then, it happened again today - three spots on page one - number 6, 7 and 8. Hey, I am moving up!
Now, moving up in the rankings is great; however, it seems that the purpose of all of it is to find clients, promote listings, etc., and it has been happening. Today I received a call from a woman in Hawaii who is looking to move to Costa Mesa. She found me on the internet. I received another call over the weekend.
I can't wait to see where this goes next.
