Wow! An answer to the Gas Challenge AND our Landfill space!?!?!?!?!!!!

enviromental visions AR Friends, you are going to LOVE this!!!

Watch the short video below to learn about a process that combines:

water + landfill waste (anything and everything in it)

applies pressure - and the end result is

gas to power the plant and diesel to power motor vehicles!!!

No joke!!! check it out!   How perfect is that!   A dream come true!   We can eliminate, or come close, the need for landfills (Hallelujah!) and produce an alternative fuel source at the same time...!

WOW!

William - you are reading my mind!  If I find out I'll let you know... we all need a piece of this action!  Thanks for writing!

Monika-  You're ahead of me - I have a Ford Hybrid Escape - which I love, but as soon as the Hydrogen stations are popping up around Florida, I'm with you!

Darin - St. Lucie?  Really?  I'm from Tallahassee and the next time I'm down you're way I'll check it out! Thanks Darin!

Casey - I think a lot of landfills are using the methane gas that's produced from the process of rotting material to generate power, but we are still left with the contaminated landfill area for decades.  This way they take the waste and turn the carbon into fuel again before it goes into the ground!  Not sure about by-products.. I'll have to check into that...  Thanks for writing!

What are the odds that any energy producer is going to embrace this technology?

Sabrina-- Depends on the energy producer... if it's on that's into alternative sources of fuel - he'll have a number interested... Big OIL - not so sure, although several have been invested in alternative energies - BP for one...  Thanks for writing!

HI Eva - I LOVE that! Thank you! I live in Coopersville Michigan where we have a county dump and a vacant DELPHI plant - built in 1990 - within 1/4 mile. Wouldn't it be cool if Changing World Technologies would set up a plant here!!! How does one facilitate something as large as that?

Thanks for the great info!

This is very exciting. I agree with you ... I love our brains! No telling what we can come up with when we put our minds to it.

Mary-  Call the guy in the video (I don't remember his name but you can google him or his company and get it...) tell him what you have in Coopersville and see if he has plans to expand...  Depending on what he says, you may need to offer to get with your Economic Development Council for any enticement $ they have to help him get started.  But it sounds like you've one BIG piece of the puzzle  - a location for his facility... particularly if it is close to the county dump... the closer the better - I think... video-guy can tell you that...

Don't hesitate - call today!  Very exciting!  let me know what happens... and if you need help - call me or email me---  glad to help you....

Colleen - Thanks!  People are so focused on MORE DRILLING as the answer to the gas price problem, but 1- it won't lower prices, and 2) doesn't solve the volume of gasoline problem..  Why?   We are consuming more and more gas and the available supply keeps dwindling!  Answer:  find another source or sources!  But you wouldn't believe the number of bright, educated people that can't get their heads around that!  Have a great weekend!

Eva,

Great post! Thanks for putting this up here. Very exciting as a possible contributor to our fuel shortages. Being the cautious guy that I am, I really would like to hear more about the pollution potential for this technology before I am supportive of it. I'm sure that there are some heavy metal and other toxic waste issues that will have to be confronted at some point - depending on what wastes they use to produce the fuel. But you are so right about the need to find alternatives... drilling more is not only not a solution, it would be a serious detriment to our nation to drill our reserves.

Mary - Let me know how it goes... I'm going to call the City of Tallahassee to see if they want to bring the technology here... good luck!

Alex, - they probably would, but those same issues are in the land fill.  And with this process they don't have the bulk along with while producing something way more productive than taking up valubable real estate!  In some places yesterday's land fills are within today's urban areas! Thanks for writing.

This is great Eva. I wonder why we haven't seen this in the mainstream media?

You know you can embed the video right into your blog so that they don't get sent away right?

Joe--- I'm not sure why we haven't seen it in the mainstream media yet... I may call my buds at the local paper and ask.  and I don't know how to embed it -- will ask about it the next time I see you though!  Thank you!

So Eva? Maybe, someday, they'll be able to figure out how to turn all of that waste into something to replace gasoline? ;-)  Wouldn't that be cool? ;-)

Teri - Absolutely!  :)  thanks for the comment!!! I mean really thanks!

Mary - Way more than we need to, and since there is a slim chance we will ever train people to recycle all that can be recycled, this sure seems like a really good solution!  Thanks for visiting!

It is about time that more people start thinking about the future of this planet! We were there in the 60's and somehow got sidetracked! Glad to see we are back there!
