Giving Back...Active Rain Style!!!

I preach to my kids frequently, "You're either a 'giver' or a 'taker'...take your pick"!  

The same is true on Active Rain...or in life in general for that matter! We marvel and rave about the blogging successes we have had as a result of our involvement, but do we realize that without the rest of the Active Rain Community interacting with our blogs and commenting and inviting our comments on their blogs our successes would be minimal...it would be like preaching to the choir!  

Well, fully aware of the need to 'give back' from time to time, I would like to make my friends on Active Rain aware of a relatively new blogger here!  

His name is Jan Gaweda...he's an agent with Keller Williams Realty Group...an office right here in Limerick, Pa, not far from my own title insurance office! Please visit his blog and say hello and give him some good old fashioned Active Rain encouragement!  

Jan and I met earlier in the week and we shared some mutual goals and ideals and discussed the present state of the real estate market in our area as well as where we think our market is headed!  

I think I convinced Jan of the value of blogging regularly, and I also warned him of blogging's addictive nature!  

So please say hello to Jan Gaweda and wish him well as he works to increase his internet presence here on Active Rain!!!

I like your comment about being a giver or a taker. I have been reading articles and blogs on this site and others but have never blogged. I just submitted my first blog this morning and it is nice to get feedback. Blogging also makes you think about what you are doing and how you can help make the real estate profession more professional and maybe convince some others to do the same. My first blog was inspired by so many trips out to look at houses that were listed but just weren't ready to sell. Maybe some agent will read the blog and be inspired to help their sellers prepare their houses.  Now I have to think of my next words of wisdom.

I only have one blog...Active Rain...I've thought about other sites, and many of my friends here on AR have multiple blogs...I do have a profile here and there on a couple of sites, but I only post to Active Rain!!! Thanks,   Fran
