    I'm not sure I see the point in featuring listings on a blog. I suppose it is another marketing venue, and I would be interested in knowing how effective it is. As for me, when I am looking for properties I would not think to look much beyond our MLS or Realtor.com or Remax.com.  Tell me if I am on the wrong path here, but I think it is a waste to put listings on Active Rain.

    Claire - you'd be surprised.  Because AR will allow you to post down to the subdivision name - we've had lots of success... Our agents are not on AR, this S/D does not have a website... so all the exposure we can get makes the builder happy!!!  We are kinda' rural out here in NC - but we have a HUGE relocation market - and that's who is finding posts like this.
