I've eaten at Ladles several times and both the food and the service have been terrfic. From the moment you enter the front door you can tell that not only are you in the mountains but you are also in a REAL RESTAURANT being run by professionals. From the decor to the dishes they present a perfect package and you won't be disappointed with anything in between! You want to talk about desserts? How about hot fudge brownie explosion? Or real homemade banana cheesecake? Both were to die for! I've had several meals and all were terrific but my favorite so far was the stuffed chicken breast with the most scrumptious mashed potatoes I've ever eaten in my life. I don't know what Kathy did to those potatoes but they were out of this world and definitely not your normal boring instant mashed potatoes, that's for sure. We're talking real potatoes with secret ingredients here folks! I've found myself becoming a regular at Ladles, especially on the weekends when I have been enjoying the wonderful variety of top-notch entertainment they offer in the upstairs lounge. From what I've seen Ladles offers quality and prompt, personal & friendly service at a very affordable price. I give it ****** 6 stars! Congratulations to the Kaminski's and their staff for bringing this ray of sunshine to the mountains. We certainly needed this breath of fresh air and I wish them much luck.
