Getting back to the basics!

We all know things are not as easy as they were just a year ago. I have revisited targeting FSBO's and expired listings. Targeted mailings are inexpensive, and unobtrusive, but not very inovative. Does anyone have any unique new ideas on how to covert the illusive fsbo?
