The Town of Eastchester with nine major parks, many mini parks and passive areas. Park facilities include baseball and softball fields, soccer and open play fields, Pony/Colt and Little League fields, playgrounds, climbing apparatus, tennis and paddle tennis courts, basketball and horseshoe courts, picnic area with tables, benches, a barbecue grill and restrooms. Some parks have rock gardens, sitting areas, a gazebo and summer concerts. The Town's facilities are supplemented with local school facilities. 116-acre Lake Isle Park features an 18-hole golf course, swimming pool complex with 5 outdoor pools, and 6 tennis courts. Leewood Park also has six all-weather tennis courts and two platform/paddle tennis courts with lights. Eastchester operates three summer day camps for children ages 5 through 14. Recreational programs cover all areas of the Town and include sports, the arts, cultural and social activities that serve children, youths and adults. Classes/programs/leagues/events include baseball, platform tennis, golf, adult volleyball, skiing, ice skating, karate, soccer, golf, basketball, tennis, softball, concerts, theatre, and special interest classes/programs such as games galore, arts & crafts, kids in the kitchen, safe on my own, babysitting basics, CPR for the professional rescuer, basic aid training, creative clothing & design, rocketry, trips & travel, and special holiday activities.
