Thanks, Vicky, I love how you put it!
I'm a big time word user but haven't enjoyed trying to coax it to work with my blogging. I gave up on it... too much hoop jumping. If I want to get the post just right I'll use the html tab and the free program Nvu. Katerina did a great post on it a while back: How To Give Your Active Rain Blog Pizazz and Punch The Easy Way And The Free Way!
Thanks for the word tips. I use word for some posts, but have found it frustrating.
Thank you! I am starting out on a rather remedial level and this is a good way to go!
Hi Lisa,
I didn't know about this lock feature. Thanks for the tip.

Good tips! I have changed over to Microsoft Publisher because it gives me so many more options than with Word and it is just as easy. It is totally worth the extra money!
Great articles and blogs you have here Lisa. Thanks so much for taking the time to share!
I am with the majority of the other responders. This will help me tremendously. THank you for taking the time to post this for us!
Hi Lisa, Thanks for this post.. I will have to try it in Microsoft 2000, I am a little behind.. God bless,
Hi Everyone~ thanks for your comments! I'm glad to pass some of my little tricks along.
Cheryl~ most likely this will work in 2000. I think major changes were made in 2007 products, so some of these tips may not work the same for those products.
