When I first started the active rain account I didnt know where to start. But after a few days I found my way around the site and learned that there are some very successfull tactics being used to market area listings on a daily basis. Here's the key... The best thing you can do is model yourself after agents that are scored highest and do what they do consistantly. Study thier sites and follow thier lead. What other advice can you add that might help?

Consistency is the key!

Harry: Let me add this:

Two of the most successful AR bloggers are Lenn Harley and Broker Bryant, who both mix promoting properties with opinions, stories, and other non-property promotion posts. They each have their own “voice” and practice the content is king philosophy of successful blogging.

Another very successful blogger, practicing a similar mix of posts as Lenn & Broker Bryant, is my wife, Teresa, whose business blog is an independent blog (she also has an AR blog, for the social aspect that is done so well by ActiveRain).
