The beauty of living in this part of the country is the all of the eivers, lakes and coastal water. The rivers are shallow this time of year, near impossible for a motor boat. One can spend a day on the river with undo noise and perfect solitude.

The Pee Dee Chapter of The National Wild Turkey Federation hosted a short paddling trip on the Lynches River river today for Jakes (Children from 5 to 15). An overcast day, ona a lazy river, with your child is a great way to spend the day with your child. With a great meal of hot dogs and hamburgers at the end just topped it off.

A big thank you for these guys for hosting this great event.
