There is much to love about Pocono Springs Estates.  Here are 5 reasons to live in Pocono Springs Estates.

  1. Cheap dues! While other developments charge $800 - $1300 or more per year, the annual dues in Pocono Springs Estates is only $650. Amenities include: 122 acre Crystal Lake (stocked with bass and other fisherman delights); a lovely pool (complete with kiddie wading pool), playgrounds, basketball, tennis, and bocce ball courts, a clubhouse with game room, and beautiful paved roads.

Note: Some maps show Crystal Lake as Pocono Peak Lake.

  2. Lots of open space! Because many of the lots in Pocono Springs are unbuildable (they can not support a septic system and/or well, or are in wet land areas, etc.) there will never be a dozens and dozens of homes stacked on top of one another all over the community.

  3. No hustle-n-bustle. Entering Pocono Springs is almost like entering a nature preserve - you don’t generally see or hear a lot of cars running around, and though ATV’s are allowed in the community, it’s still a great place for peace and quiet.

  4. Abundant Wildlife - Pocono Springs Estates is bordered by PA State Gamelands, so it’s quite common to see many beautiful deer (today my customers and I spotted several fawns and even two huge bucks with velvet on their antlers), turkey, eagles, hawks, owls, squirrels and chippers (chipmunks). This is a nature - lover’s paradise!

  5. Not Too Secluded!   With all my raving about how Pocono Springs is quiet, peaceful, and full of wildlife, you may think that it’s way out in the middle of nowhere. Actually, it’s not far from Interstate 84 & 380. Located only a few minutes from Newfoundland where you can pick up your necessities and groceries, it's also close to Tobyhanna Army Depot…Scranton is nearby as well.

I also happen to have a LOVELY home listed for sale in Pocono Springs for only $154,900  (There are some more community pictures at the end of the virtual tour, as well)

One of my sons is spending the summer somewhere up in the mountains in PA close to NY. He is having a blast fishing and hiking. He is a chef at a boys summer camp this year. Taking a break from his chef job down here since it is off season here.

Katerina, I may have been by the camp he is working at - and up near the PA/NY border is a gorgeous part of Northeast PA - rolling hills, pastures, farms...do you know the name of the camp?
