The Stagers - New Show about US!!!

Have any of you caught the new HGTV Show called "The Stagers"?

I haven't seen it but curious if it is showing the TRUE work that goes into staging homes.

For those that haven't caught the show yet, here are some of the talent being featured:

Loud, outspoken, and endlessly entertaining, professional stager Matthew Finlason has an eye for design and a knack for breathing life into any dull space.

Eco-friendly, green design has always been Maureen Powers' passion. A professional interior designer for 25 years, she is a pioneer in the world of sustainable thinking, design and living.

As a child, Bridget Savereux knew instinctively that she had a passion for design. Why else would she have spent hours rearranging her bedroom furniture, painting her walls the perfect shade of pink and choosing her dream bed linens while other kids played video games?

Looks like an interesting cast. By the way...couldn't they be any one of us? How come I haven't seen these folks on AR? :)

Karen, Kate, Craig, Maureen...you are my vote for the next STAGERS show!!!

Beth--I have not seen the show but bet there are several AR stagers that would make great contributions to such a program!

I did see the premiere last Sunday with Matthew. It was decently presented with more realistic prices eventhough the house was almost 4 million dollars the staging cost 40 thousand. I thought they did a great job, and showed how stressful a stging can be. Theres the second show tonight ...Im TVO'ing it...LOL Thanks Beth

Hi Teri, I agree. Who should we try to get intereted in auditioning next year? Then perhaps AR would get even MORE coverage and Staging would be truly represented by one of our own?

Hi Beth, I think the show is fantastic and the closest in reality to what we actually do. I have written blog reviews on each episode shown so far (we are a couple of episodes ahead in Canada). I heard from Matthew Finlason on one of my blogs. He has agreed to an interview. I'll be posting that soon on Active Rain.

How cool is that Charlene - FUN! I'd love to see more about your blogs. ARe they on AR or another blog site? I'm going to check it out...
