Good thing its Sunday, so its not a high pressure work day, but I am in the office just trying to get a few things done and I am working in the computer workstation area where there are three computers so I can work on one computer and my kids can play on the other computers.

This set up is good because then I can help the kids with the computers if they have trouble, but its also bad because they have a question about every 3.5 seconds.  So I have not done much yet, except this and getting this post done is a challenge.

I guess the bonus is that they gave me material for a post.  There is no one else in the office for them to distract when they start pulling each others hair, so that's another plus.

Most of the time my kids are good and I do bring them to the office almost once a week and on showings maybe once a month.  So kids and work do mix if you don't mix them too often.

Hi Chuck -- let the children work the computers now.  My daughter started out that way, and now works with me in my Real Estate business, and in past 18 months, she has sold $11.5 million in properties.

Chuck, it is nice that you have a career that allows you to incorporate family time with work.  I'm sure it will be something that your kids will never forget!

I am grateful every day to have a career that I absolutely love.  My flexible schedule allows me to spend time with my daughter and experience her growing up.  She is only two and she is already learning how to "help" Mommy with important phone calls and check the market each morning.

Chuck - My kids would love to get their fingers on my computer but they just aren't old enough yet! :-) It's great that you are so patient bringing your kids to work.
