No Localism Hoopla Here!

By
Industry Observer with Living in the Pacific

I've blogged and posted on localism in the past and present and nothing ever shows up on localism for our area.  In fact, I can't even sign up on the localism site.  There is one local REALTOR who is the "Neighbor" and another guy who is from NJ.  Why is he here?  Just don't see what the hype is about...yet?

I have been having some issues also with localism.  It seems like its going to be a great consumer site however and am willling to give it some time.  I just have no idea how to sign up.. Looks like more fun learning ahead!

I have the exact same issues!!!!!  For all my time and effort, I think it's out the door.  Besides the fact that what I did post over the last week, was in fact on localism then today I go to localism to read and my posts are gone.....nice huh?!  Someone has the 411 to the Localism, they just not letting everyone else know...

Randy,  I am not sure what you have been putting on Localism but I think you can dominate you Localism really easy.  It just takes some effort and at least 1-2 quality posts per week.  Look at Jon Washburns feature post today.  If his projections are right Localism is going to beig hugh and you are in on the ground floor.  If it doesn't hit like a lot of us think it will you have a lot of quality content for your blog.  People will see you as being the expert on Tupelo.  I say it is worth a shot to start posting to Localism.  Good luck and happy blogging.

This respnse is to Jimmy's response.  I can't seem to get anything to post to Localism....I've tried.  Maybe things will work out in the long run.  My other problem with another new site is branding it to the public.  It could take years to get the public there.  There will always be that next great site like YOU TUBE that will steal the thunder.  I struggle getting the public to go to A/R.
