National Night Out is changing days

So you were thinking that the National Night Out is going to happen the first Tuesday in August.

Just letting you know that it has now changed to October 7th. You can contact your local law enforcement agency for more information.

If you go to their official website http://www.nationaltownwatch.org/nno/ They are still call for August 5th 2008. I am trying to find out who is right.

Texas is the only state who has changed their date. All the other states are still in August. We will have a "National" night out all by our lonesomes in October when it's cooler weather.
