Another reason - lucky you live Hawaii
It's so nice to call up some friends and get thier - Private Estate Kona Coffee! It almost feels illegal, going over to their house, exchanging money for a baggy full of something! Brings back memories. :) Good thing its just 100% Kona Coffee though.
There is just something cool about getting it fresh from the farm, in a freezer bag - they should have tours where you could pick your own cherry's, and have them roasted and sent to you. I have to give it those cherry pickers though - my buddy had picked the last of his 5 acre farm and told me I could go and pick any left over's. He had a nice late bloom - but man - it takes a long time to pick those cherry's, and it takes about 7 pounds of cherry, to produce 1 pound of roasted coffee, I think I will stick to just picking up the baggies.
If you're interested in purchasing a Coffee farm - give me a call, I can get you set up - even if you want to start fresh and plant your own - you could start picking in about 3-4 years
