We definitely needed a group like this Rich, the members will benefit greatly from having a "one-stop-shop" to gather information and direction. Great call my friend!  :-)

Gracious Rich...

This should make a difference. I know you Guys probably get tired of answering the same questions over and over.

The Group will serve as a wonderful place to point folks too. Now if we could get everyone to listen to Brian Brady's interview with "The RainMaker" (CEO or AR-Jonathan Wasburn) and "The Widow Maker" (Bob Stewart) we'd be good to go :)

Folks...

Just in case you missed the interview take 45 minutes of your time and listen to what the Guys have to say about The New Localism. You can turn up your speakers and listen while you Blog people :)

Rich,

Thanks for all your efforts the entire staff - it is a good vision and a good presentation.

For the Localism and for the Outside Blog - RSS feeds and subscription links will help as soon as they can be implemented.

Opening the photo uploads would be welcome as well.

It will be here tomorrow, and we are excited. Even those of us who have expressed concerns are ready to get it going.

Richard

You will not be able to post to the Group but the ongoing progression of updates will serve you well.

Thank you Rich.....I am fairly new and sometimes I feel a little lost in the Rain...but this will help for sure!

Things change so fast here---what I learned when I first joined, back in May--doesn't apply!  Every time I log on to Active Rain--it feels like my first time!   I wish had this same feeling in other areas in my life!  lol

Rich,

You have been such a great help. Can you verify the schedule:

Schedule for States/Provinces for Localism Land Rush:

  • August 8th - South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, US Virgin Islands, Vermont, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Wyoming, Saskatchewan, Yukon

If I understand correctly, I will not be able to sign up here in Texas until August 8th?

Thanks in advance, Russell

I hate the fact that you suck me in.  I now have more to learn.....I already have enough to learn, but......... I suppose that if I'm to dominate in all facets of life, then I need to know localism inside out.  This is bookmarked Rich.....sigh!

Barry...

You're welcome. I hate dislike guessing games...They remind me of assumptions...And you know what they about those :)

I am a just give me the facts kinda person...Sounds to me like you and I have something in common...Just the facts and nothing but the hard cold facts. I also prefer the Readers Digest version of those thank you very much :)

Thanks Rich for guiding me to this page.  I am working through the information and have realized the merits of bookmarking.  ActiveRain is so good about giving 'how-to's' but unfortunately I can't always get to the place to find the information as condensed as this.  Thanks again.
