I can't believe it, but it's true... I've posted 500 blogs!  This makes 501!  When I first started blogging, I didn't quite know what to say.  I knew I had a lot to say, but wasn't sure others cared about what I had to say, so I stuck to only factual, business related topics.

As I got more comfortable with blogging and read more and more blogs by other people, I realized blogging can be anything you want it to be.  The word BLOG comes from the words "Web Log" and when you're logging things on the web, it's just another fancy word for Diary.

I look at blogging as a way to make my Diary open for everyone to view, without the most personal stuff of course!

I've blogged about real estate, I blogged while I was pregnant, I blogged while in the hospital after my water broke, I've blogged about buyers, about sellers, about my husband... nothing is really off limits when it comes to blogging, and I like that!

If you're new to blogging, and you're wondering how you're ever going to get content to blog about, don't worry about it. Things will just start flowing off your fingertips, and you'll be well on your way in no time at all.

Congratulations on your 501th post.  It is amazing yet at the same time, you simplified what it is all about.  500 entries in a diary seems much less difficult than 500 blog entries.

Web Log!  I wondered about that for years now.  Thanks so much.  Oh, congrats on 501 and keep it going.

Web Log!  I did not know this either.  It's like Kleenex, you just accept it for what it is and move forward.  Congrats!!

Donna, I too have blogged on a number of things, the only limit that was placed on me was my wife has always said no pictures of her can appear (she's very Shy!!), In any case congrats on your milestone, keep up the good work. Steve

Congratulations on your great achievement. It lets me feel a  little liberated to know as a newbie to blogging what others are blogging about. Ernie

Mark, If you think about the numbers, I've been here over 2 years, and to blog 500 is less than writing in a diary once a day.

Randall, Thank you.  You learn something new everyday.

Rebecca, It took me years to understand Kleenex was a brand and not the actual object.

Steve, My husband doesn't like when I blog about him or people we know, so I understand.

Kris, Thanks *blush*

Ernie, Just write about what you go through from day to day.  People will relate.

Congratulations on 500 blogs!  That is quite a milestone.  I've not reached that goal, yet, but it doesn't seem to be as hard as I first thought it would be...  :)

Wow!!  500 blogs (well, 501).  You certainly have a lot to say.  But don't worry... someone is listening (reading).  Have a great day!

Donna,

Maybe it's not that you enjoy talking, but rather you enjoy the feedback. It makes me feel good to see lots of comments on my blog. I'm being listened to.

Claudia!  Hey!  How are things?  Basecamp going well?  I would love to hear all about it. And you definitely need to get your blog going.  I noticed the AgentCEO on my subscription list last week and was wondering if you were going to come back.

Congrats on 500 blog entries! You've been a busy girl with lots to say. I have to agree... when you start it is hard to find what to say but if you just start it becomes more and more comfy as you work the words. :0)

Wow !  Congratulations !!  That is quite an accomplishment.  We just started recently and are really enjoying the outlet.  When I write something it helps me relax and clear my head.   It is great to be a part of the A/R community and this blog world !

Lindsey, Thank you, and lots more to say!!

Leigh, Thanks, and it's not scary as I feel I know so many people and I say "my friend" in such and such area.  I have "friends" all over the country.

Teresa, I don't completely blog about hubby, but I've related some of his golf habit to real estate, and then this move to Austin that might happen is because of him.  He doesn't know... shhh

Joseph, Yes, yes I do. I can talk all day!

Christopher and Stephanie, I know what you mean as sometimes I'm just writing to rant, but others still comment as they relate.

This blog is to help educate Buyers, Sellers and even other Realtors across the country.  Each market is different and the way Real Estate is done is different.  Austin Real Estate is completely different than Dallas, California and Florida and everywhere else in between.  Some times there will be other things besides real estate as I like to rant and rave as much as the next!!  Come back often!
