We have a home that is being listed with us and the owner is putting in new carpet and painting. The thing that blows my mind is that they are painting AFTER the new carpet is being installed!

Is it just me or is this being done in the wrong order?????????? Why on earth would you paint with the new carpet in, knowing you have to be careful and cover it? If you do it while the old stuff is in there you can make a mess and not worry................... does this make sense to anyone??????

Sounds like a case of not thinking it through, maybe they didn't have time free to paint before the carpet people arrived to install?
