Not far from our office on the South end of town across from Southern Oregon University, Morning Glory Restaurant is a personal favorite of mine. This award-winning breakfast and lunch establishment run by chef/owner Patricia Groth. Using organic and local ingredients whenever possible, every dish I've ordered has been delicious. Walk on over to Morning Glory at 1149 Siskiyou Blvd in Ashland to start your day off right!

Karen, you are so right.  I was in Ashland mid July and staying at the Cox Hall across the street.  My husband Alan had started going each summer to play chamber music (flute) and eating at Morning Glory had become a tradition for him.

Next time you go to Morning Glory please tell Ryan Foster, the waiter at the counter, that he is 'the Best Waiter in Oregon'. It was a message that a friend in Walnut Creek had asked me to deliver to him and he smiled from ear to ear. 

Have you tried taking the 2hr Segway tour of Jacksonville?  It was one of the highlights of my visit.

I absolutely love Ashland.  Don't know why it took me so long to visit.

Krista - It does, doesn't it? I've shared some great meals with great company here, too.

Susan - I'll pass your message on to Ryan, happy to be a part of putting a smile on his face. We've had the Jacksonville Segway group right behind us in the Ashland 4th of July Parade two years in a row, but I've yet to take their city tour. Sounds fun!

You can't go wrong at Morning Glory.  Everything is fabulous and the atmosphere is just perfect.  The downside - I can't ever decide what to get.  Last time, I just let the server pick something.  It was fabulous.

Hi Linsey - Yes, Morning Glory does have an extensive menu, which makes the decision process a tough one sometimes. So many delicious items to choose from!  Look me up the next time you come through, okay?
