Each year in the Tri Cities we get the opportunity to tour area builder's pride and joy's. They get the opportunity to showcase not just their skills as builders, but also their visions of what gracious living means to them in how they incorporate new materials, appliances and amenities into the traditional home.
I've been going to this every year I can remember. It used to be one of those things I shared with my mom- our annual outing of our shared love for all things housing. We'd ooh and ahh over new steambath type shower units, outdoor kitchens, cool moulding treatments, media rooms and so on.
This year's show is Saturday and Sunday, September 6 & 7th from 9am-5pm, Wednesday, Sept 10, 1-7 pm and Saturday and Sunday, Sept 13 & 14, 9 am to 5 pm. Tickets are on sale in many places usually- We usually get ours at the local Sun Mart gas and slurp's.
If you're curious, the Home Builders Association even has a link for last year's show at http://www.tricityparadeofhomes.com/
Enjoy!
