Babyboomers and Yuppies

By
Real Estate Agent with Weichert Realtors Dunhill Group

Whatever happened to babyboomers and yuppies?  It is not a description that we hear about as often as we did in the eighties.  Are there still anyone out there who can give a really accurate description of the meaning of who they are and what they represent to us in this day and age?  Why were they given these names in the first place and are they still around?  Questions, questions are there any answers out there?  And most importantly, are we as Realtors still using them as a criteria in the Real Estate business?

Really not sure from your picture (may not be current), but you are a baby boomer if born from late 1945 to 1948. Yuppies are the children of Baby Boomers.

If you don't qualify under those terms you are Generation x, or some other alphabetical axiom.

No matter in real estate, they all need housing. The first group may be targeted for investments other than a house.

Great text Lucille I think we need to downsize the baby boomers and upsize the yuppies.
