Ever since Jurassic Park came out on film, there has been a curiousity about dinosaurs. But what I didn't know until I moved to Cromwell, CT years ago that right next door in Rocky Hill CT is a Dinosaur State Park. So, if you children are looking to know more about dinosaurs and spend the day walking trails, and exploring. They are open year round, so if there are school projects to be done, here is a place to start.
Valerie I have been there once and it was real interesting. I always taught that dinosaurs were these really big creatures, but some of the foot prints of the ones in Rocky Hill were pretty small.
George.. Yes, dinosaurs are big, but Connecticut is a small state.. so of course we have small dinosaurs... LOL.
That is so cool! I think someone else blogged about this a while back, but it may not have been the same place. I just remember a dinosaur post. Either way, it's always good to give people reminders, and to keep the info in the search engines.
