Cancer and the beat goes on

You were all so great about responding to my joy about my husbands cancer shrinking.  I have a quick thought to explore....My husband keeps telling me that he still does not feel that he is getting better I was so surprized that he did not see this as a possible success for him,  did any of you have that same response or feelings as he did from personnal experience.  Did anyone you know feel that way or do you think he is just depressed with all the time it takes for chemo etc.  As his caretaker (and he will not allow anyone else..hospice or otherwise)  I am really stumped.  I pray at night for six things for him "Health, Happiness, Harmony, Joy, Peace and Abundance".
