I love the real estate industry; it has been a part of my life for over 80% of my life!  My parents instilled the value of real estate to me growing up; owning several homes for property management and the one's we lived in.  Now don't get me wrong, managing your own property isn't a cake walk, but it's rewarding both professionally and personally.  From day one, my parents have always expressed the importance of hiring a professional real estate agent to ensure you get the best representation.  I have followed that for over 30 years.

I bought my first home in my early 20's in the United Kingdom, with a real estate agent, and I have never looked back.  Over the years, I've relied on the knowledge and guidance of real estate agents and have profited and benefited.  I realized my second career.  The look on a home buyer's face or seller's satisfaction is absolutely amazing.  I love the short notice call, the crisis to be resolved.  The next time you feel all an agent does is drive you around and show houses, think again; there's a lot more to it.  Call an agent and ask what entails to buying or selling a home; you will be surprised.

This is a career, a life, a way of life; a true Realtor will inform, and handle the situation, no matter what so you won't have to.  And if you're lucky enough to find a passionate Realtor, rest assured, you're in great hands!!!!

 Just my two cents.

Frank-

Selecting a 'passionate' and reputable agent certainly takes the worry out of real estate investment. The investor must be wise when selecting such a representative.

Great post!

I think that is the key right there, passion. That alone separates the good Realtors from an average Joe.

And --- you are in a position to change someones life and get them out of a rental property and into a home to take advantage of the tax system as well as start building personal wealth.

Scott that is true.  It makes it all worth it.  I hate people not being educated and thinking they have to rent for the rest of their life, when they don't.  I like to education people on real estate matters and appreciate the thanks you's I receive.
