Continuously run into owners of Maine real estate who figure if their property is posted somewhere on the internet, that they are all set.
Selling real estate & promotion of it is not kid's play or for amateurs! Some owners spend vast somes for an insertion on a For Sale By Owner site that if you google it, it comes up 3089..if you use the right search term. False notion that there is a post hidden in some crevice of the world wide web that makes him on equal footing with every other property for sale out there around the globe. Many real estate brokers and agents think too.."I'm on the internet with one home made site from 20 years ago..that's good enough." Being just on the internet is not enough. Like planting a garden behind your home, you don't just plant one hill of cucumbers...and you don't plant just cucumbers right? You plan where the radish, onions, leaf lettuce come up first and next door to them, the squash, cucumbers and later vegetables that need the space they vacate to spread out and maximize the garden space you work on. One blog on your property is not enough, one post to You Tube video is not enough. An enhanced REALTOR.COM site falls short. Think of rockets blasting your 
real estate propaganda and community information to tons of outlets...several video posts, several blog posts, podcasts, individual and corporate websites. Press releases, local community video on your local television station, a slew of newspaper ads running continuous. Email trickle property exposure campaigns. Feeds firmly planted here, there and everyway to help syndication. Nothing narrow about your approach as you want a gatlin gun for broadcasting...not a sling shot or pea shooter. Keep sending the real estate fireworks onto the wire that runs to everyone computer. Your Maine property is for sale...don't keep it a secret...let the world know about it. Otherwise it is like winking at a girl in the dark. You know what you are doing...she does not. And you go home alone. In additon to activerain...what other blogs sites do you maintain?
