Southern Illinois is speckled with a lot of small towns, and the largest area for shopping, college and any sort of urban needs is Carbondale, IL.

I grew up in a much smaller town, in Wabash County, called Fairfield, IL.  Population 5,400.  Fairfield is "fancy" because they have a Super Wal Mart AND a Mc Donald's!

Anyhow, Carbondale is now my youngest sister's home.  She is beginning her career in photography and has what they call "the eye".  She can capture the most amazing moments and express personality through a photograph beautifully.
