For Those of You With Newsletters - Create Your Own Crossword Puzzle FREE!

While I was on vacation my aunt showed me a neat tool she had found to create a crossword puzzle for the kids she teaches.  If this has already been around the block I apologize.

When she showed me the puzzle she had made the wheels in my head started turning.  I don't have a newsletter yet but I know many of you do.  With this free tool you can create community specific crossword puzzles for your clients or theme related ones for your next party.  I haven't had time to really think about it but I'll bet there are a number of uses you can come up with.

Warning - Because this is free, the pop-ups might drive you a little nuts.  I have pop-up blocker and I was still getting some.

Just click on the logo at the top to take you to the website.  Have fun!!!

I personally don't have the patience for crossword puzzles, but sounds like a neat little tool.

Duane - This is a site where she would have to make her own.  In addition to community specific newsletters it would be great for bridal showers, baby showers or other themed parties

Hi Kathy,

Just did it, created one for my newsletter...however I couldn't get it to print out correctly. Have you heard that from anyone?

It has the numbers 1-20 and then I have a list of Across and then Down with the Hints.

Yet when it prints out it doesn't have the little boxes where you insert the letters. Have you tried it yourself? I'll give it another go, I love this idea.

Hi Lynda - I did try one after I first learned about it.  I remember I copied & pasted the puzzle into a word doc and was able to print it out OK from there.  My Aunt said she had to play with it a bit too before she could get it the way she wanted it.
