Looks like Snoop has jumped ship to a real National Championship team.

Defending national champion LSU apparently has some "izzle" in addition to sizzle.

Snoop Dogg, a rap music recording artist and producer from whose favorite slang saying is "izzle," donned an LSU jersey Wednesday and was a surprise guest at the Baton Rouge Rotary Club's monthly meeting that featured LSU football coach Les Miles as the speaker.

Dogg, whose real name is Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr., wore No. 8 on his jersey. The Long Beach, Calif., native and USC fan was in the area after a recent concert and wanted to meet Miles. The pair danced a little together at the podium.

Just a year ago at this time, the two were reportedly at odds. After Miles criticized the schedule and conference of USC, a rap song originally credited to Dogg made fun of Miles. But it was unclear if that was indeed Dogg's song. The song contains some profane lyrics. One of the lyrics said that Miles should not be talking about how difficult the Southeastern Conference is until he wins it.
