If you just started, make sure it's not the "honeymoon" and they haven't shown their "colors" yet.  Always keep an open mind when starting a new job.  They all have motives for you, most of the time, you just don't know it yet.  Good Luck!!!

In resposne to the comments on this post I would like to note the following.  GreatWest GMAC has been very successful in retaining our agents.  We are able to do this, as we have a business model in which we supply real business to our agents.  If one looks into some national stats, there is some evidence that only 20% of a company's agent population is actually productive.  I am proud to say that 50-60% of GreatWest GMAC Real Estate agents are doing regular business.  Our company maintains 5 offices and we may lose one agent per year to another company.  In fact, we are in a growing phase.  We are expanding our business into 3 new cities- Stockton, Modesto, and Tracy.
