I attended the sentencing hearing today for these three, and my broker spoke on behalf of all residents in the areas effected.  A couple of the contractors were there to speak about the impact the scheme had on their families lives.

It lasted about an hour and a half and neither Michael or Ardeth chose to speak. Chris Troupe did speak and apologized for the damage they caused.

Judge Montgomery was firm in her sentencing and was very concerned that this scheme went on for years and was not an isolated incident and passed out the sentences as follows:

Michael Parish received 13 years plus probation following his incarceration among other restrictions.

Chris Troupe received 10 years and similar restrictions. The judge did agree to recommend their requested prisons.

Probably the biggest suprise was Ardeth Parish, she received a sentence of 5 years and other restrictions.

Restitution hearing is scheduled for October and they are required to surrender to the Bureau of Prisons on Tuesday, August 4th. Even of they file an appeal, they are required to go to jail.

OK thank you for the information. Have you seen any of the neighborhoods they have built in latley? I hear they are all abandoned with weeds growing and the doors to the homes are wide open. Do you know if this is true?
