When buying a Michigan home for sale some home buyers come up with the plan to put in multiple offers yet only want to buy one house.
When you submit a written sign purchase agreement and give a deposit and the seller accepts and signs it becomes a legally binding agreement. So if you put in three different purchase agreements and two of the sellers accept and sign. Then legally you are committed to buying two houses. You can lose your deposit if you back out.
That is the reasoning on why you can only put one purchase offer on one Michigan home at one time. It would be different if you are looking to buy multiple houses. But if you want to buy one Michigan home, then just one purchase agreement at one time.
