You know its a slow day in real estate when you are sitting at your desk trying to drum up some business.  You check your e-mail and there is a request for you to do not one but two BPO's.  In your excitement you push the accept button without looking at the request.

You print out the report papers and start to read...Use no REO properties (that's hard in today's market).  Then comes the whammer...One is a 1600 sq. ft. home on 10 acres with a pool and not one but two 2400 sq. ft. buildings!  Ok that's hard but the other one must be easier.. no its a 3500 sq. ft home on one lakefront acre in town where most of the homes are on less than 1/4 an the homes are less than 1500 sq. ft.

Oh, the joys of real estate! No two days are the same!  Well at least I can buy a tank of gas now!

Anyone else have a you know its a slow day to share?

Slow day what's a slow day?  A slow day is a da you decide to be slow.  The more you can find to do the more will find you!

Use the slow day to touch base with all your past buyers, especially any first-time home buyers who bought after April of this year-- use the 7500 tax credit-- as an excuse to touch base-- and let them know that "I am never too busy for any of your referrals"

Oh I appreciate them too.  I do alot of them.  I usually get the atypical properties though not the cookie cutter ones.

I guess the word slow has different contations for everyone. I consider a day to maybe slow if I did not get any great leads, or I was unable to find a buyer a home that was right for them. Good luck with your BPO's.

You know it's a slow day in real estate when the person that walked in your door and you've been talking to for 30 minutes says, well, how much will you charge me to complete a survey of my ranch? Of course, you give the guy a blank stare and realize that he meant to visit the local engineer in the office next door -- and I thought he wanted to list his property . . . . . duh !

Well currently I am multi-tasking...not a slow day for me on a friday...currently listening to a webinar and the coach's computer kept freezing...now we all are waiting for like 15 minutes!  Gee! My Goodness!!  Well anyway...reading blogs and making myself "productive" while waiting ! :)

Thanks,
