Ever since I made it into the top 100 AR Bloggers, I've been fascinated with my compadres on that list. Most of them have hundreds of blogs under their belts except for... what's this? A blogger with only 40 posts in the top 100? How? Just how good is this Jennifer girl?
93.

Jason: She is very good. So are you! We have a few luminaries on here!
Dawn: 1. Click on the "Blogs" icon on the upper right hand side (third one from the left);
2. On the right hand side of the screen you'll see "the most subscribed for the month".... Click on that
3. Scroll to the bottom of that list and you'll see a link to the Top 100 Bloggers... Click on that and you'll get the list of the top 100 bloggers on AR.
Mirela... This is just so extremely NICE! I am flattered beyond belief that you felt it worth actually posting about :) You didn't know it, but I am currently experiencing the worst two weeks of my life and I'm desperately trying to find some good things to grasp ahold of to bring me back to a happier state of mind. You are such an angel for highlighting me in this way.
The cool thing is that now I've finally discovered YOU!
How is it I've not seen her blog? Wow! She's very good. I subscribed also. (And... as a person who subscribed to your blog ages ago... I'm glad to be one of the many who have seen you reach the top 100.)
I agree: She's very good - must subscribe myself. Hopefully, we can get her to join The Optimist Group.
How's life in AZ?
By the way, I never found a Zero bar after your Candyman post. I do, however, know where to locate a Zagnut. There is one in a vending machine at my Mom's nursing home (doesn't that figure...lol).
By the way Chuck, you're no slouch when it comes to blogging...You're in my Top 5 for sure.
Before I learned how to bookmark blogs, I was subscribing to everything I liked. Now I have way to many blog subscriptions to keep up with. I probably should unsubscribe to all of them and start over. Any suggestions about this people, or course...Jennifer and Mirela would definitely stay! They are both excellent writers.
I'm not 100% sure how they rank in all groups.. you would think the top 100 would be the top 100 per score... I'm still learning alot about AR on a daily basis....
Jennifer: You went from spot nr. 94 to #87 in a matter of ONE BLOG! WOW! I didn't realize I have such good readership! I'm impressed!
You really are THAT good. That's why the warm reception precipitated by my post. I was impressed to find you, and apparently, so is everyone else who discovered you today because of this blog.
Portland is conducive to depression. No offense, I love that place, it just doesn't have enough sun. Whenever you feel blue, maybe you should come visit me in Myrtle Beach. We have sun most of the time. Even when it rains it only lasts a short while. It's almost impossible to stay depressed here, unless you don't get out of the house...
Southerners are really nice too. When I first moved here from the West Coast, I couldn't believe their ways. After moving into my new home, my neighbors brought me pie. I couldn't understand why they did that. I thought that maybe it was "laced"... People are just downright NICE for no apparent reason. They can insult you, and you won't even know it... as in: "Bless her little heart... (then insert some major flaw of the person they're insulting). No one will ever give you the finger, or utter obscenities. It's just not done here. It's always sunny and the people here match the weather. Come anytime you need a "pep me up'!
I spent my childhood in Romania. The only two worth remembering are: Lintz and Toblerone. Yum, yum! I LOVE CHOCOLATE!!! The European chocolate tastes differntly than the one here.
First to Dano... Listen up buster... I am not full of hot air and I think we both know about that headache cure of yours! My Sardi handles that department just fine, thank you. Now go run or something....
To My Sandra... Soon sweetie. I tried writing last night and my muse is still on holiday. Soon though, I promise!
My Sardi... Explain that to me in person, will ya?
About my beloved Toblerone... I lived in Zurich for a little over a year and LIVED on this luscious Swiss chocolate! It's definitely Swiss!
Mirela... Wow! That's quite a jump considering I didn't even post again! I also appreciate the offer of a visit. My sweetie's parents live in the general vicinity (NC) and I hope we make it there before too long. If so, we'll stop by :)
This has actually been a great way for me to meet some new bloggers as well. Thanks again for such kind recognition!
Protein bars/candy bars. same thing. right? ;-) Chris- sorry to get you going in that direction. I blame the sugar devil. (there is one, right?) And if there's a sugar devil the sugar angel (opposites always exist) knows toblerone. I've had the original Swiss version... it was in Argentina, where they reverence this import and introduce it to you with an intoxicating purr, "TOE-Blay-RrrrO-Nay" in much the same way one might hear "rich Corinthian leather". Jennifer- I hope the muse comes to visit. Still, I'm betting the muse can take a snooze and you can still whip up the magic. Mirela- hope you enjoy the sunday plan ... sounds like a dream.
Yes, I found a ZERO bar today...it's just as I remember it.
Now, it's back to my no snack regime...THOUGH I might have to climb into my 'confection capsule' one last time and rocket back to 1975 for one of those 'triangular treats' from Switzerland (Thanks for the correction, Jennifer).
Switzerland is one place I want to visit soon...the family that moved to Nashville that I mentioned earlier lived in one of the most picturesque homes I've ever seen (in a photograph or in person).
Mirela, I LOVE Jennifer. She is so much fun and has a way with words I only wish I could have. She is fun and has a giant heart to boot.
