It has been a couple of stressful days in my house. I am up in Alaska spending time with my husband while we wait for the Chief Petty Officer results. If you don't know anything about the Navy, this is the most sought after rank for an enlisted sailor. It is a year long process. Study, test and then wait and wait and wait!

We have not gone to bed before 4am the last 3 days waiting on the results. This morning at 0930 my husband found out he is now CPO (sel). I haven't stopped jumping around!!  This was his first try and that is amazing! There are some that test for years and years and never do make it. This is a huge accomplishment!!

This is my sweetie on his second tour to Iraq.

CONGRATULATIONS SWEETIE!!

Now the fun begins with the 6 week induction!!

Michelle, I always get sick when I get home and this trip was no exception. I had a headache for 3 days! Feeling Thursday and then last night pulled a muscle in my neck! The induction lasts for 6 weeks and well - no pictures - you know "secret squirrel" stuff - lol! The "pinning" is Sept 16th so I will have pics then! I should post a "what I did on my vacation" blog with pictures - I have one of my head in a "miner" cut out! lol!!- ok here it is!
