Stay tuned for more info on the residenses to be built at the ocean links at Brule Pt. near Tatamagouche,  Nova Scotia.

I will have up to date information on my web site - homesearchnovascotia.com  as it becomes available.

Here is a recent article as posted in the Nova scotia Busiess Journal- Brule Point

The homes will be heated by a geo-thermal system. And the links shall be irrigated by treated sewage and waste water that passes through an ellaborate filter system.

It is a welcome change in this province to see such forward thinking when it comes to housing!

Hi Paul,

Great post.  I have been folloning this development as well.  I just wanted to give you a heads uo when you link to Chronicle Hearld articles they don't come up.  I think the reader has to subscile to the archives which cost money in order to open the post.  I had the same problem on my blog.

Hi Paul

It is an interesting venture for tha part of the province - I guess everyone has Fox Harb'r in mind (but lite!). Apart from the obvious market sector differences there are not the on site facilities that make places like Fox Harb'r and Humber Valley stand out to the foreign investor. It will be interesting to see how it goes. The local market still seems to prefer the more traditional sub division such as Brule Point, or Blue Sea malagash.com The condo marina units don't seem to be moving, again a bit of a new concept, different to the traditional cottage.

It will be interesting to see how it goes.

Regards

Hi Paul

I think land sales and cottage sales in this area are still very traditional as Dave says, but actually the golf course proposal doesn't seem clear if it is to be more like a subdivision than the resort model. Perhaps as the lots are only half acre they are thinking of the condo system used at the Barrachois marina (there mainly to allow a joint sewage system).

Their web site is at www. ocean links.ca and includes a layout plan.
