A Neighborhood Success!
On Saturday, July 26, the Green Spring Valley Homeowner Association held a neighborhood fundraiser for our Children's Playground project of installing a new play structure. The event coordinater just stopped by to inform us that we surpassed our goal of raising $3500 for the $30,000 play structure. This amount was raised in just three hours.
Our fundraiser featured yummy barbeque plates, cupcakes, slushees, tea, beer, pink lemonade; pony rides, a spinner game, temporary tatoos, a moon bounce, and a silent auction. The residents of Green Spring Valley supported and participated in the event to make it the success it was.
