15 Comments on How to make a patio look fabulous - What are the secrets?
Really nice view David. No place like that around my parts that's for sure.
Thanks for the tips. While few us enjoy the view you used, most of us can 'dress up' our deck or patio for showing. Veronica
Thanks for the tips. I will start on mine.
WOW, that's a beautiful view. I actually have clients that live in your area and bought an investment property here in Charlotte NC,
Thanks for sharing.
Hi David - Welcome to Active Rain. As mentioned above, for obvious reasons, that's quite the view. Let's see... what else to do.....well...you could put me in it ;-) There's just something magical about mountains and water together. Is this your work - it's lovely! Thanks for the pointers.
p.s. don't forget to reciprocate comments on your commenters' blogs :-)
With a view like that the house should sell itself (just kidding)
Staging the outside is as important as staging the inside
The table looks very nice, but the view is INCREDIBLE!
David,
I am convinced that I am sitting at that very table overlooking the ocean, drinking my morning coffee and smelling the fresh ocean breeze while I bite into my breakfast croissant! Oh, sorry I got a little carried away with your staged patio! You sold me! Staging the entire house inside and out including all patio's is crucial to the sale of any home. Great post! :)
HI David, I really appreciate you sharing the patio staging ideas. I have never thought of putting a bowl of fruit out, simple but inviting. I will be incorporating your ideas on my next patio. Thanks, M
I love your post! Makes me miss home..I was raised in sunny Southern California!! I have several of these star fish in a variety of colors. The finish never comes off-rain or shine, so they are perfect for patios....especially when we do not have a beautiful ocean view like your post!!.
The only way to get away with a setting like that would be for an open house. The heat, wind, and humidity here is fierce, so we can't do too much for a vacant home patio.
Hi David, I'm glad Jeff introduced me to you! Look forward to following you.
Your photo is great, love the view. Our weather is so unpredictable, that I usually have potted plants and outddoor furniture, but wouldn't be able to set the remainder of the area until a broker's or public open house.
Great ideas.
Joyce
David - great tips for staging a patio. I tell clients clean, neat and uncluttered first- andI love your ideas.
Great Post and thanks for sharing...I have ordered the free booklet..
