Creating Activity When Things Are Slow

By
Real Estate Agent with Exit Creative Reaty

Hi!

Our Broker had a sales meeting several weeks ago and one of the presenters was Bill Pennington from Tru Decor Home Staging Co. I liked the presentation and wanted to add him to our network in the community we live in. We spoke on the phone and e-mailed Bill and his partner Kim Greenough and arranged a meeting at one of our listings in Heron Creek. We worked out a deal and they are going to stage one of our listings.

We get a lot of cooperation from the General Manager and Director of Sales and they are supporting our venture also. On monday we are doing an e-mail blast to Realtors within a 25 mile radius of 34287. Someone from Active Rain gave us the name of a service that does this legally.

It will be an Open House For Realtors on Wed. Aug 6th from 2-5 PM. Our stagers will have turned this attached villa from very nice to EYE POPPING !!   We'll have handouts for all our listings and promote Heron Creek Golf and Country Club as a great place to live. We live here and we love it. We're having a special drawing for attendees and one lucky realtor will win a round of golf for four at our beautiful club.

Heron Creek Golf and Country Club

Soft drinks and desserts, learn about staging a home, meet colleagues, promote our business, promote our networking partners, It's not so bad creating activity when there isn't a lot going on.The company that is e-mailing our flyer told us they had a realtor that complained when the turnout was five times larger than expected. We ccould live with that.

Heron Creek Golf and Country Club 5092 Whispering Oaks Dr. North Port, Fl 34287 Wed. 8/6 for Realtors 2-5 PM. Neighbors and prospects are welcome Sat and Sun from 1-3 both days. 8/9 & 8/10.

Kieran and Cecelia, this sounds like a great idea. If a listing is not getting traffic then we need to open doing some "unconventional" things to get that traffic up. Sounds like you have a plan to increase that traffic and possibly get a home sold in the process.
