According to Kiplinger's Personal Finance article, Austin-Round Rock was honored with 6th place of best places to live .  They said the economy was strong and vivacious.  They also stated that because of the type of people/workers we have in the area, it lent to the area's livability and creative energy.

As a Realtor who works both areas, especially Round Rock, it was no surprise to me that Kiplinger chose this area. With such great things to do like our beautiful  Dell Diamond - baseball anyone?  Which was voted among the best in the Minor leagues. A trail system second to none with the potential of over 50 miles, new hospitals, classes at Texas State University satelite campus, shopping at the  Premier Outlet Mall/IKEA or La Frontera or a trip to  Salt Lick dining (best barbeque in the world),  Don't forget the Round Rock concert series with local artists at the Round Rock Amphitheater.  There is a whole new world in Round Rock, I am glad I live here. Written by Suzanne Gantner, GRI, e-Pro, Sky Realty Austin
