Question: Should you make an contingent offer when you need to sell your home first.

Answer:  Depends how set you are on not moving twice wnen you can't afford 2 mortgage payments at the same time. Also a seller will expect to get a higher sales price when accepting a contingent offer because this could keep some non-contingent buyers from making an offer or in some cases remove the listing from the active homes list.
