Kara ~ What about a Canadian football field. We can't forget about our friends up north.
hey Ryan..... according to my sources - A Canadian Football Field is 150 yards long by 65 yards wide. Still a far cry from the polo field dimensions of 300 yards long and 160 yards wide. sorry.
I didn't think of that one!!!!!! You got me thinking on that one it looks like the crowds are really spread out too, so everyone gets a good view........
Yes Frank - the spectators are along both sides of the field. This pic is from a huge tourny final match so the vip tents are set up along the clubhouse side of the field :)
I think you just answered your own question Ryan. Is it a golf course - - - or a golf field? ;)

Hi Duane ! Yes the horses do get very tired (and a fresh horse is key to the players performance) - - that is why every player has a 'string of polo ponies'.
Kara, ahh, didn't know that. Think the only time I seen any thing to do with Polo was on Pretty Woman.
:) My niece said the same thing when I took her to her first polo match.
Kara, it looks like a sport that I would enjoy, hehehe (my best horse impersonation) grin
