Real Estate Agent Tips off FBI to Find Kidnapped Little Girl

An ongoing search for a man who kidnapped his 7-year old daughter came to an end when a real estate agent tipped off the FBI to the man and girl's whereabouts.

""FBI agents were tipped off to the presence of a man known as Clark Rockefeller by a real estate agent who leased him a carriage house in Baltimore, according to a police source familiar with the investigation."

Usually, real estate agents in the news is a bad thing (usually ANYthing in the news is a bad thing) ... So, it is nice to see that it was a real estate agent who was the HERO in this case.

A great example where it pays to keep your eyes open and pay attention! More people need to get involved~ good job!

Mariana~ I don't think the realtor was being "nosey" If she wasn't paying attention, the little girl may not have been found......

Glad the story had a happy ending.

Thank goodness that it was reported and the child is ok. Realtors are by nature inquisitive.

Glad to hear they got the guy. I have been following the story as it is right in my back yard.

Hi Mariana - this has been all over the news here since this first started since I'm in the Boston metro market. I was very glad to hear that this finally came to an end with that little girl reunited with her mom. And good for that agent being alert and aware, and for reporting what was seen.

What a great story. I DON'T UNDERSTAND why REALTORS are always portrayed so poorly when our grassroots efforts are so evident through NAR and local Realtor Boards. We are always most active where no one else is!!!

wow.. that is fantastic that the child was returned home safely... that is one agent who pays great attention to detail.. I would send that agent a referral any day..
