English Bulldogs!!

As I blogg at my computer this is what is starring at me with a lazy look on his face. I would like you to meet Bruno. Bruno is my english bulldog, he is 8 years old and very spoiled. Those of us who own a bulldog know they make you laugh by just their looks and personality. So how could anyone be in a bad mood with one of these as pets! He is a tad over weight at 77 pounds. And yes we are on a diet, but excerise is the problem as you know bulldogs are not an active breed. He prefers a nap over any activity.

Is there any other real estate agents out there who have bulldogs? I have thought about using him in advertising with me just because when I do take him out he always causes a stir with people and he attracts everone wanting to pet him with all his wrinkles. Just thought he would be good for advertising. Has anyone used a bulldog for advertising purposes in real estate? Just curious let me know.

Tinker: How could anyone say no to that face? He is just adorable! I have a Jack Russel myself. There is a local team of agents that go by "The Jack Russel Group" so that avenue is closed to me but they seem to be very successful with it. I say go for it!

Tinker~ When I saw your post I just had to read it. This was one of my sons favorite dogs when he was going through a serious illness many years ago, he was only four and he wanted a mush mouth as he called them. One of our neighbors had one and that's all he talked about, he ended up with a Boxer instead of a Bulldog, close enough. Your Bruno is adorable!

Thanks for your comments. Your son is right they are mush mouth for sure. He is a great pet and loves kids. I have a grandaughter 6 and a year old grandson he is so good with them. Boxers are great dogs too. They are smart, my niece raises them. They make such cute puppies we love to go see her when she has new pups.

Thx, I'm working on a tutorial for marketing online with wallpapers/calendars, etc... and thought Bruno would be a great example. He's adorable. I'll use the larger pic above and will let you know when it's posted. Thx again Tinker!

I use to raise shetland sheepdogs and use to run them in my adds all the time. People would tell me that they called because of the dog pictures. So go for it... Plus he is so cute!! Good luck! :)

BRENDA: Thanks for your comment. I am going to start advertising him with me. How did you place them in your signs? Or did you just use them in paper ads and magazines. I want to use him with my metal yard signs.

I just used them in ads but a local print shop can make peel & stick pictures of him; then you could put him on your signs. Let me know how it goes for you! Brenda :)

Hi Tinker~ First, thanks for taking the time to read and comment on my blog. I'm sitting here with coffee in hand reading your blog. Love the pictures of your English Bulldog! You should consider using Bruno with your real estate marketing. Why not? He takes a great picture and people love pets. I recently sold a home to a client with an Engligh Bulldog, Bogie. The sellers and I hit it off from the start because Bogie happened to like me.

Tinker, he is absolutely the most gorgeous (can you say that about an English? In this case I guess you can!) thing. I can see why you are smitten. Bruno is a rock star, no doubt about it! Love his coloring, and he looks in really, really great shape for an old man of 8!

I think using him as your company mascot is a perfect idea! How can people not resist doing business with someone who is proud to claim that they are the personal valet of an English.

Bruno is beautiful !!! What a sweet face... my wife and I are big pet lovers. I have been lobbying for a dog, but since we work so much, we are content with our two cats. We refer to them as the Special Members of our team - Here is one of them - Charlie - let me know what you think : )

Tinker....what a cutie you have! Cherish him dearly....I use to yell at my dog for the mess I would find on my nice white marble tile floor...and now would give anything to be able to have him here now...nudging my right arm and saying, "Dad...you're on the 'puter. What about me Dad?

The problem with advertising with dogs is that you can alienate the cat lovers... Cat lovers are clients too!

Tinker: Go for it. Get a good tag line and run with. "Tinker running with the bull" hmm...I will have to think some and get back to you. I think he is adorable. How much does he weigh, he looks big.
