Once a year a spectacular event takes place in Wisconsin for ten days there is an event that really makes Wisconsin shine. It allows everyone to let their hair down and get back to the rich cultural events if community such as traditional farming, the splendor of 4H, the essence of what this State has to offer from pride in livestock to the outstanding cfeempuffs outstanding cream puffs that are consumed by amounts that cannot be measured. When I was a farmer I would actually go to the Wisconsin State Fair and feel like I was an animal ambassador.I must confess I have a special attachment and love for animals. I have a tremendous respect for them, and someone like myself could spend ten days straight in he animal barns and buildings. Farming is very hard work, but it is very rewarding. To see the amount of energy that the children in 4H put into their animals and projects is something that you rarely will have a chance to see such commitment for care,health, shape, and grooming of each breed of animal that is entered. It truly is an art form, and something that duly should be proud of. Each animal is maintained and cared for so meticulously that they fight for best of show. Awesome!   The fair is just grand in size.Entertainment galore, as well as food beyond all expectations.Every kind of sandwich, Gyro, barbecue, pizza, all types of ethnic foods, mind boggling would be the word to explain the array of cuisine. Ice cream, corn on the cob, ribs, chicken,and on top of all that there is the Wisconsin creme puff. This gem has become synonymous with the Sate fair, Almost a million of these decedent culinary fancies are consumed The midway, the rides, the National Bands, the auto racing, the planes, the helicopters, the trams, the comedians, ferris wheels, concessions, and more makes this one of the largest State fairs in the Country! The events and activities are endless at the Wisconsin State Fair.It would be hard for anyone to not find what they are looking for. fun for all ages. This truly is a State Fair that has little competition, and nothing can come close to rivaling the makeup of young and adult entertainment.
