La Grange Kentucky is located a short 28 miles from Metro Louisville Kentucky. It was founded in 1827 and how has a population of over 5,800. La Grange has the distinction of having a railroad that runs through the center of town at 10 mph. When the train comes through cars pull to the side and park. The downtown district has charming antique shops, clothing boutiques and wonderful places to dine.
Some famous natives of La Grange include;

- Tom Blankenship, Bassist for My Morning Jacket
- Kenny Bolin, Manager of Professional Wrestling
The community is close knit and friendly. The streets are tree lined with lovely homes and small cottages.
