Dutchess County Fair In Rhinebeck Is Just 3 Weeks Away

The annual Dutchess County Fair in Rhinebeck NY will be held on August 19th-24th this year. Now would be a great time to make your plans. Why not turn this into a mini-vacation considering there are so many other things to see in the area.

To save on admission cost you will need to buy your tickets ahead of time. Right now if you buy the tickets at some of the local supermarkets or on the Ducthess County Fair Site you can get them for $9.00 a saving of $3 dollars which really adds up if you have a large family. If you have young ones, admission is free for children under 12 years.

Jennifer, personally I love County Fairs. A slice of Americana for all of us. I hope it is a good one for you.

not to mention the 4H milkshakes. if youhave never had one you will think you have died and gone to hev. the line is insanly long but moves insanly quickly. and you will never, ever, ever taste anything quite like it. and it is more than enpough for 2!

I love all the fairs and festivals -- This looks like a terrific event. I hope you can make it and let us know how things went.

It's that time of year for the County Fair. Just love it to death. Enjoy!

This will be the 1st year I won't be attending - I can't say I'll miss the fair because i will be on vacation. BUT, I will miss the funnel cakes! Will you have one for me Jennifer???

I love this fair for the animals. We have gone several times and the animal displays and shows are the best in the area. Thanks for the reminder Jennifer
