This one was too good not to share...

My parents were at a party. Someone mentioned they were thinking of selling their home. The hostess of the party has a daughter in real estate, so naturally the partygoer asked the hostess/mom for her daughter/agent’s contact information. What did the hostess/mom do?

She said, “Are you crazy? You don’t want my daughter to help you.” She points over to my parents. “You want their daughter. Their daughter actually works and cares about her clients and it shows. My daughter just has a license to sell real estate. If I ever needed an agent, I’d use their daughter over mine anytime.”

My mom shared this with me the day after the party. I was so blown away!

How did I come by such loyalty? Well it wasn’t by sending my SOI monthly postcards and magnetic football schedules. Nope – I came by this the old fashioned way… I work hard for my clients and really enjoy what I do (really!).

What an amazing story - I don't think I've ever heard such a thing. You're even better than I've been giving you credit for (and that's a lot!)

I really couldn't believe it when my mom told me. I've had this family on my SOI list, so they get my e-newsletters and I keep in touch regularly to see how their family is doing. Honestly I knew their daughter was an agent so I never expected to "get" anything. Just shows that you never know!
