I can't believe this trade! The Detroit Tigers bull pen is hurting yes, and I love Inge! But why Ivan?
I am still licking my wound from Sean Casey!

Kyle Farnsworth was used in yesterdays game. (He also had a rough outing.)
I have to tell you Charlene, I've been a Detroit Tigers fan since 1967. (Please don't add up the years...) This year is the first year that I've said out loud that I will not buy another ticket for the year. I'm done. I have been so disgusted with this season.
Instead of shopping for pitching help management bought hitters. (And gave up 8 pitchers.)
And yes, I miss Pudge also.
You think? Thanks for the comment. Thought I was the only one who thought that way lol.!
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah............I'm crying like a baby too.
I understand the trade, but loved Pudge. And I really DON'T love Farnsworth, especially after he blew a lead AGAIN last night. UGH!
The bullpen situation is a debacle. No one can hold a lead anymore. Can't believe Zoom blew a 2-run lead in the 14th inning last night. I'm absolutely nauseous.
I wouldn't be surprised if Leyland packs up and calls it a day one of these days, like he did in Colorado a few years ago.
Marianne ~ Thanks for sharing your tears with me.! I wasn't able to watch last night, but now, glad I didn't!
I am just praying for Leyland and the rest of the Players!!! It isn't pretty fans!
Charlene- it's been 2 weeks and I still can't believe they traded Pudge! It's been a tough season, for sure.
MIKE ~ did you see last night? OMG I can't wait till the yankees come to town! I told my husband that we need to find tickets and get signs that says... Pudge is our tiger!
Don't think it would do anygood, but.... Thanks for your comment!
I wouldn't be surprised to see alot of signs like that at the Tiger/Yankmee game. Despite Pudge's mediocre presence at the plate the last couple of years, he was definitely a fan favorite here. And he had a great smile!
It occurs to me, no one has answered your question "who's your Tiger now?".
Polly has been my Tiger since the day he arrived (he has a great smile too, albeit a bit of a "peanut head", according to my daughters). Who can boast a better performance in a Tiger uniform?
A close second is Armando Gallaraga. Who would have thought this rookis would be the ace of the pitching staff? I'm praying for a good performance from him today--we can't get swept by the Blue Jays, for crying out loud!
Marianne~ Thank you for sharing your tiger with us! I love Polly's head and bigger smile LOL! I have been a Maggs fan from the get go, but feel all the tigers are near and dear to my heart! I just want to break those brooms!!! This is my future Tiger!!! (Sitting the Whitecaps dugout!)
Maggs! Of course I couldn't forget him. Here's a photo I took in Sarasota in March during a Tiger/Reds spring training game:
I'm with you.....I really love them all (except for a select few who have let us down recently!)
You have a fine-looking future Hall-of-Famer there!
Marianne! Thanks!
We were the lucky few that got to see him play on our local Whitecaps team before he came back to the Tigers this past month!
I told my husband he would be the only one I would leave him for and he said he understood... lol!
He looks kinda silly in that Whitecaps uni, I must admit!
How about yesterday's game? GALARRAGA FOR PRESIDENT!!!!
Marianne ~ Not as silly as some of the crowd that showed up with the famous hat and hair combo!
As a Yankee fan, I thought the trade was pretty darned good!
We didn't make the playoffs, but, alas, neither did the Tigers!
As Cubs fans say in Chicago, Wait 'till next year!"
Well Charlene, Leyland just announced that Brandon Inge will be back at 3rd next year. Excellent move. Who do you think will be catching?
Farnsworth is terrible. He didn't want to be here now anymore than he did the first time and wont be back. We are going to have a lot of new faces next year, most of them pitchers.
